Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Boga Club. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Boga Club. Boga Club is operated in the United States and intended for users in the United States who are 18 or older.

You're responsible for your account and everything done through it. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may close your account at any time from your settings.

Boga Club has two doors. A Free account lets you browse ventures, watch the pitch feed, and like pitches and updates. A Member account ($7/month, or annually) additionally lets you create ventures, submit pitches, post updates, and vote daily on the pitches you back. Eighty cents of every paid dollar flows to the non-profit grant fund; the remaining twenty keeps the platform running. The ledger is public.

Voting may influence which pitches a grant program supports. Your membership fee buys platform access and features — not votes, entries, or any guarantee of an award. Any competition or grant program will run under its own published rules, and eligibility and awards are decided under those rules — grants are not a prize bought with a membership. These mechanics are being finalized with legal counsel before launch; where the law requires it we will provide a way to take part without payment and may use non-cash awards, and we may change or pause voting to keep it lawful and fair in every jurisdiction we serve.

You keep ownership of the ventures, pitches, updates, images, and video you post (“your content”). By posting it, you grant Boga Club a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content — including resizing, transcoding, and generating thumbnails or preview frames so it can be shown across the platform — for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform and the grant program.

You represent that you have the rights to everything you post and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. When you delete content it stops being displayed; the license ends except for reasonable residual backups and any copies others made or interactions they already had while it was public.

Keep Boga Club useful and safe. You agree not to post or do any of the following:

• Unlawful, harmful, hateful, or harassing content.
• Content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy.
• Spam, scams, or fraudulent or materially misleading ventures, pitches, or claims.
• Manipulating likes, votes, or engagement — including fake accounts, vote or like rings, and automated activity.
• Impersonating a person, business, or Boga Club itself.
• Malware, scraping, or attempts to break, overload, or circumvent moderation or rate limits.

We may review, hide, or remove any venture, pitch, or update, and may suspend or remove accounts or ventures that violate these Terms. When we take a moderation action we record the reason and the acting moderator, and we notify the owner. If you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice or contact support@boga.local and we'll take another look.

We may update pricing, features, or these Terms. For a material change to the Member price or to what Membership includes that affects existing Members, we'll give advance notice — by email and in your account — before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the change, and you can cancel beforehand from your billing settings.
